Rates & Trip Details
Your full-day trips will be approximately 8 to 9 hours on the water. Half-day trips are 4 to 5 hours on the water. Start times depend on your schedule and the fishing season.
Fly-fishing Trips: I will provide all the equipment and flies best suited for the fishing conditions. If you have never fly fished, don’t let that scare you. I am more than happy to get you started fly fishing. Want to learn spey? I can teach you that as well during our trip.
Casting Trips: If you choose, I have the gear and know how for plug or spin fishing.
Instructional Trips: I also offer instructional trips for any level of fisherman that wants to improve their knowledge and skills. Unlike other instructional classes, my classes are held while floating down the river. You will learn knot tying, casting, fishing techniques, stream etymology and ecology, and stream etiquette; all while you fish/float down the river. I love doing family instructional trips.
You Should Bring:
Fishing License: A valid Michigan fishing license is necessary. You may purchase either a full-season or one-day fishing license online by clicking this link: Michigan Fishing License Online Page
